The tourist tax is levied by Amrum Touristik: During high season (March 1 – October 31) it is €3.50 per adult/day, and in low season (November 1 – February 28/29) €1.80 per day. Children up to 17 years are free of charge. Your Amrum-Card grants free beach access at Kniepsand and discounts on island events and nature tours.
W.D.R. car ferries run multiple times daily from Dagebüll Mole or Schlüttsiel to Wittdün on Amrum (approx. 90 min crossing). If bringing a vehicle, we recommend booking your car ticket in advance at faehre.de. When traveling without a car, use the secured island parking in Dagebüll; the island bus (Line 1) takes you directly from the port to Nebel.
